Sport is an important and integral aspect of life at ESK. Through the curriculum, extra-curricular clubs, the house system and representative sports, we aim to foster and promote healthy attitudes to physical activity throughout a student’s school career and, more importantly, their life.

The students are provided with a wide range of opportunities to compete and participate in an impressive variety of activities. Our well-equipped sports hall allows all weather access to Athletics, Tennis, Football, Badminton and Basketball.  Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool, floodlit Tennis courts, 1 outside Basketball court, 2 Netball courts and access to a Football Stadium in close proximity. Within our sports complex we also have a Dance Studio, a Fitness Studio and a recently opened new state of the art weights and fitness room which is used by our older students.

All students are expected to take part in sporting activities. Formal PE lessons begin in the reception classes. Able pupils are invited to join after school sports academies and represent the school at competitive sporting fixtures. The school hosts a range of extracurricular sporting opportunities through private paid clubs including dance, Kung fu, and gymnastics. A range of sports camps are run in the school holidays which are open to pupils of all abilities.
