Primary School

The ESK Primary School covering the formative ages of 2 to 11 provides a warm and friendly environment where children can learn with confidence.

Our very youngest pupils (from Pre-Nursery to Year 2) are housed in the purpose-built early years ECO-building.  Welcoming, warm, and bursting with colour and fun, the early years building encourages even the most nervous little ones to feel at home and to relax within the light-filled classrooms which surround the large central courtyard and indoor play area. The spacious classrooms are all well-equipped and include interactive whiteboards.

We seek to nurture and stimulate young pupils’ talents from the start whilst allowing them to follow their own curiosity. We want our young pupils to discover that learning is a fun and rewarding pursuit.

The curriculum itself is based on the UK EYFS in Nursery and Reception classes. From Year 1 onwards children follow the highly respected Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP). Developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, it forms an excellent grounding for secondary education with a strong emphasis on English language skills, Science and Mathematics. The timetable also includes the use of the school’s extensive sports facilities, as well as classes in music and creative arts. As pupils progress through the primary years they are introduced to the skills of independent learning as preparation for their senior education.
