Ski Trip

Our students that attended the Ski Trip are still warming up after spending a week in the snow and the mountains of Fanningberg, Austria. The resort was in a beautiful location with panoramic views of the frosted mountains. The excitement throughout the week did not dwindle, as students learned to ski or to show off their abilities to their friends. The ski lessons finished on a high note with certificates and medals gifted to the students from their ski instructors. For many, it was the first time away from their parents and we were extremely impressed with their maturity and independence. #skitrip#exceptionalesk#esklions#weareESK

UK Universities Trip

Welcome back, teachers and students! After a wonderfully busy, insightful week in the UK, students have a better idea of which universities they want to apply to and learned about a variety of programmes in depth. All of the tours were thorough, as they travelled through beautiful, historic and new parts of each campus, and received enlightening lectures from academics and professors. It was extremely special to see familiar faces as ESK Alumni met with the group at their universities.

A lot of ground was covered in a week; students started in London visiting UCLKing’s College LondonImperial College LondonThe London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE, and Queen Mary University of London. Then they began their travels, visiting the University of CambridgeUniversity of OxfordUniversity of BristolUniversity of WarwickDurham UniversityUniversity of BathNewcastle University, and The University of Edinburgh. We are happy to see them home and excited about the bright future that lies ahead.

Thank you to all of the schools for the hospitality. It was a wonderful experience.

ESK exemplary at JA Cyprus

ESK participated in a bi-communal entrepreneurial event called JA Cyprus in Nicosia. The event gives young minds from the North and South of Cyprus a wonderful opportunity to collaborate. There is a tight timeline where students must come up with an innovative idea, create a business plan, and present their idea to a panel of judges who pick a winner.

For the 5th year in a row, ESK was represented in the top three groups. A special congratulations to Ahmed, June, and Ergul for placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd!

All of our students were focused and exceptional team players. They represented ESK in a professional manner, and looked very smart.
Congratulations to all students that participated!
