At the end of Primary School in Year 6 all ESK students sit the Cambridge Check-point end of Primary examinations which are externally marked and assessed. This allows us to com-pare our Primary students’ attain-ment levels with students in schools from around the globe. We were delighted to learn that we have been ranked by Cambridge University Examinations with a school average of ‘very good’, with the upper third of our students receiving the Cambridge Interna-tional maximum rating of ‘excellent’ across all of the three examined areas of English, Maths and Science.

Cambridge’s report also revealed that ESK is well above international expectations in all three examined subjects. We were also delighted to learn that a number of ESK pupils achieved maximum marks without dropping a single point in the exams (Maths, 9 pupils; Science, 8 pupils; English, 6 pupils).
