ESK Students are remarkably busy; their day begins at 8.30 am as they begin their fulfilment of class, socialising with friends, grabbing a snack from the cafe, and studying. Each day there is an abundance of events and learning, and many cheerful faces buzzing through the halls of the school.
Below is a breakdown of the curriculum for each year group:
Key Stage 3- Years 7, 8 and 9
Students follow the UK National Curriculum
All students study the following subjects: English, Turkish, French, Mathematics, Science, ICT, History, Geography, Art, Drama, Music, Physical Education, PSHE, Civics, Religious Education, Leadership
Classes are set according to the ability of English, Turkish and Mathematics. (Where a student’s English is not of a sufficient level, they may be entered into additional English lessons instead of French).
Key Stage 4- Years 10 and 11
Students follow the IGCSE programme.
Key Stage 5- Years 12 and 13 (collectively known as Sixth Form)
Students are given the choice of either the A-level programme or the IB Diploma programme. You may follow the links below to learn more about each programme.
